Stress-Free – Affordable Care
Affordability is one of the many reasons people choose to engage in online therapy versus traditional in-office sessions. In most cases, these counseling services are a little less costly than in-office therapy. Plus, you’ll save a significant amount of time, avoid unnecessary travel, and limit stress. This can all add up to even more value. If you’re interested in learning more about the costs of virtual therapy, insurance options, or any of your other financing questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Connecticut Online Counseling team. You can also find some of the basics below.
Connecticut Online Counseling providers are members of some Anthem and Cigna plan networks. We are also happy to help you process insurance claims forms, complete reimbursement paperwork, and do our best to help you make the most of your coverage. In most cases, our first step will be to verify that your insurer offers telehealth coverage. Some insurance providers are pretty clear about their available benefits. For others, the relative newness of telehealth care means you’ll need to apply for preapproval to ensure your plan includes coverage for telehealth. Our knowledgeable team of professionals are always happy to help you make the most of your benefits.
Rates & Billing
Each of our counselors extend virtual counseling services at the rate of $125 per session. We ask that clients be prepared to pay for their session at the time of service. If you have questions about rates or billing, please don’t hesitate to talk to one of our team members.
For online counseling clients, we’re happy to accept payment with major credit cards via electronic funds transfer through a secure payment portal. If your insurance plan includes a Health Savings Plan (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), we are also happy to accept payment through these accounts. When you get started, we’ll help you to understand your payment options and walk you through the billing process. If you ever have questions or concerns about these payment policies, please give us a call.
If for any reason, you aren’t going to be available during your scheduled session time, we ask that you do your utmost to provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Without advance notice, we reserve the right to charge the full session rate for your missed appointment. This policy is in place to ensure our counselors have the opportunity to extend their services to other clients in the event you’re unable to attend your sessions. We appreciate your respect for our time and that of your fellow clients.
